In Memory of John ‘Babu’ Moonen 1928-2006

John Moonen, also known as ‘Babu’, spent the last twenty years of his life in the Ruvuma Region of Tanzania, helping whomever he could. He was a friend to many Peace Corps volunteers and to many Tanzanians, whom he treated as his own children. He was much loved by the founders of TETEA. All that TETEA does is in his memory, may he rest in peace.
